This posting is for contract bid purposes.Aviation Maintenance SupervisorDuties: Perform maintenance, modify aircraft structures, structural components, and enginesMust be able t! o perform maintenance on flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical componentsApply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical dataMust have a detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheersMust be able to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and the customer alikeMust be able to make entries in aircraft logs and recordsMust be able to communicate and lead other mechanics to achieve the objectivesOther duties as assignedEducation/Experience: High school diploma or GEDMust have a FAA A P LicenseMust have a minimum of 15 years verifiable experience working within the Army or DoD equivalent systemMust have verifiable leadership experienceMust demonstrate knowledge of the Army Aviation Maintenance program to include; scheduled maintenance management, procedure! s, work order tracking and filing, maintenance man hour estima! tes, phase progressive phase maintenance procedures, and ULLS-A(E)Must be able to read and interpret aeronautical drawings and written procedures Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organizationMust have experience working with MS Office, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPointMust be a US CitizenMust have or be able to obtain a Secret ClearanceWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.TNC and its subsidiaries fall under ANCSA and are entitled under Federal Law to extend hiring preferences to its shareholders.
