The Firm is looking for a Project Manager in our Birmingham, AL office.

Position Summary The project manager will report to the Senior Project Manager and work with manager, technic! al staff, administrators and practice groups to apply professi! onal principles, practices and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost and performance risks to ensure project completion and success.

This role has responsibility for all assigned projects and manages satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring and other aspects of a project.

This role is generally assigned non-critical standardized projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements to realize each for the stakeholder.

Determine project success measures.

Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed and provide timely feedback.

Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.

Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met.

Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and! customer goals.

Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to management.

Follow BABC defined processes and procedures for project management.

Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders needs and requirements continuously in view.

Work collaboratively with team to maintain thorough knowledge of capabilities and to ensure that all communications are precise.

Prepare and manage project budget; ensure a high level of fiscal control and accountability for project budgets

Take a project /assignment from inception to completion with minimal supervision or by following broad guidelines

Review project deliverables

Manage multiple groups of people within a project

Conduct project post-mortem to understand project success, areas of opportunity and continuous improvement.

Define and maintain all implementation processes, manage implementation lifecycle, coordinate documentation when needed. Maintain timelines and target dates in identified Project Management T! ools, e.g., Microsoft Project.

Qualifications Education - Bachelors degree preferred

Experience

3-5 years of project management experience

Experience managing IT projects and delivery on time, in scope and within budget

PMP, ITIL, CSM, or other certification desired

Proficiency in MS Office products is required
