Job Title: Mortgage Loan Closer
Division/Department: Mortgage
Summary of primary duties and responsibilities:
Maintain a good and positiv! e working relationship with all atto rn eys and/or closing agents.
K nowledge of escrow, escrow analysis and construction loans .
Fully trained on all documents required to close mortgage loans.
Fully trained to prepare and clear HUD-1 settlement statements for closing.
Communication with customers in regards to information on closing mortgage loans.
Fully trained in preparation of wire requests and oversee disbursement of funds by attorney and/or closing agents.
Follow up on any post- closing items required by the QC depar t ment.
Exemption Status: Hourly/Full-Time
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Mort g age background preferred but not required
2. Good communication skills
3. Attention to detail, organized , and dependable
4. Responsible for meeting deadlines
