Manager, Human Resources Duties: Work as a key member of the HR leadership team in developing HR strategies that support busin! ess initiatives. Contribute to translating business needs into HR initiatives. Ensures and facilitates effective communication at the Southern Campus through associate and various committee meetings as well as personal interactions with associates and leaders. Contribute to and support the implementation and administration of HR processes and programs that increase the productivity, competence and effectiveness of the organization. Responsible for evaluating and administering HR policy including associate and labor relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, safety, investigations and compliance. Counsel and/or coach employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, in line with local culture and the business and legal environment, utilizing the company Performance Management System. Promotes effective leadership practices and mitigates employment risk b! y providing expert advice, counsel and direction to plant mana! gement; consults with management to ensure that performance issues are actively managed consistent with company policies and practices and code of conduct. Serves as a member of the Southern Campus Leadership Team. Provides direct supervision and leadership to HR professionals functioning at various levels of responsibility within the Human Resources Department. Participates in the negotiation and administration of the collective bargaining agreement and daily interaction with unionized associates. Additional relevant projects.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree required; an M.B.A., J.D. degree or Masters in HR is preferred. And one of the following: 7 years company Human Resources experience required, or 7 years minimum of Human Resources experience with 4 years of supervisory/manager experience and PHR Certification preferred, or 10 years minimum of Human Resources experience with 5 years of supervisory/manager experience required. Experience dealing with c! onfidential issues; enterprise software knowledge a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office; very detail oriented; high degree of accuracy; organizational skills to meet specific time requirements; demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member; excellent listening, verbal and written skills; exceptional interpersonal skills required.
