We are seeking a paralegal to provide support to attorneys in our Litigation Practice Group in Birmingham, Alabama.
General Paralegal Duties:
Assist attorneys in preparation for closings, hearings, and trials.
Investigate the facts of the assigned matter to insure that all relevant information is considered and included.
Identify appropriate laws, judicial decisions, legal articles and other materials relevant to the assigned matter.
Prepare written reports, to be used in the determination of how a case may be handled.
Draft pleadings, motions and other documents on behalf of the attorney.
Organize and track information and files.
Monitor and review government regulations for changes.
Perform other duties as requested.
Bachelor's degree required with ABA paralegal cert! ification or Associates/Bachelors degree in Paralegal studies.!
Must have 3-5 years litigation experience.
