Our Human Resource Team is dedicated to partnering with TravelNet Solutions to maximize the potential of our greatest asset—our people. We embrace change and the opportunity it brings. We are focused on delivering quality customer service and are committed to recruiting, developing, rewarding, and retaining our TNS Team. The HR Generalist works closely with the HR Director in supporting employees and leadership. This role is responsible for independently facilitating daily HR functions as well as General Administrative responsibilities, using a broad knowledge of Human Resources, and working autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

Do these responsibilities describe what you like doing?
  • Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, pay changes, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics in Paycor (HRIS).
  • Administers leave requests and accommodations under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and state/local-specific regulations.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
  • Answer employee benefits questions, participate in Open Enrollment, and new hire benefit elections, and assist with the employee benefits process.
  • Responsible for new employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Administer and oversee the performance evaluation program as well as supports the wage review and market analysis process.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of equitable recruitment practices designed to drive diversity and minimize bias, including recruitment protocols, interviewing guidelines, evaluation methods, and training for hiring managers, and provides direction to contract recruiters; ensures hiring managers follow best practices.
  • Promptly responds to unemployment claims, short-term/ long-term disability claims, and employment verifications.
  • Foster and build employee communities through the All Hands communications, team meetings, and encouraging community involvement.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, embodying the Company culture while recognizing the unique needs of our people within TravelNet Solutions.
  • Balance people's needs with business needs. Take a kind and objective approach to employee relations.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and seamless change management
  • Collaborate with other team members and company resources to determine best practices and provide updates to the process
  • Organizing the All Hands Social agenda and activity.
  • Support our rapid growth by assisting the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment efforts.

What are some must-haves?
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years experience in Human Resources with some experience supporting a remote workforce.
-SHRM- CP or PHR preferred
  • Superior verbal and written communication and customer service skills are a must
  • Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to analyze situations and/or data to present effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish team goals
  • Experience in hospitality a plus
