You must be a US Citizen or US National.
Successful completion of a one year probationary period.
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service.
Background Investigation and/or fingerprint check is required. DUTIES:

Review the most complex of loan and grant files to assure possession of all needed documents according to guidelines set forth for any and all of the loan/grant programs offered by the Agency.

Prepares closing documents, orders checks and activates loans.

Review reserve requests, rent change increases, and utility consumption information.

Prepares Rental Assistance agreements and monitors use of rental assistance units, their corresponding funds, vacancies, and rent paid by tenants.

Reviews taxes, insurance, partial payment estimates, change orders, and cost certifications for accuracy.
Review periodic financial statements on closed loans, noting any problems or potential areas of concern.

Prepare complex spreadsheets and assists in analyzing all aspects of the financial situation.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including the following specialized experience as identified by grade level.

For the GS-06 level: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Scheduling appointments; providing technical information to the public; preparing ad-hoc reports; reviewing mortgage loan/grant applications packages to determine missing documentations; inputting and maintaining on-line tracking systems; preparing standard reports and spreadsheets; drafting correspondence to mortgage loan/grant applicants; preparing outreach materi! als; processing mortgage loan payments, prepayments or payoffs; and est! ablishing and maintaining loan/grant files. (Note: There is no education substitution for this grade level.)

For GS-07: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Reviewing legal instruments and documents such as mortgage, deeds, titles, liens, promissory notes and contractual obligations; answering technical inquiries from various entitles such as: lenders, investors, businesses, attorneys, accountants, Realtors, etc; reviewing financial documents to ensure agreement with mortgage loan agreements or legal descriptions; work experience with other types of complex mortgage loan making and/or servicing experience.
