The Community Talent Manager fuels and champions meaningful employee experiences through advocacy, counsel, coaching and connection. In partnership with the Community Talent Director, the Community Talent Manager drives employee engagement and organizational effectiveness through a deep understanding of business needs, and a commitment to fostering a culture of belonging. We’re seeking a passionate, emotionally intelligent, and driven self-starter. This individual constantly thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds trusting relationships across all levels, and problem solves independently.
What You’ll Do
The Manager, Community Talent is a key member of the talent team who champions meaningful employee experiences while ensuring core business and organizational objectives are met. This individual operates as an HR business partner, driving a proactive and forward-thinking talent approach to leaders and employees that is strategic, consultative, and influential to the organization’s success. The Director builds strong relationships with employees at all levels and anticipates talent-related needs, maintaining an effective level of business knowledge and partnering closely with HR centers of excellence.
  • Execute a progressive talent strategy aligned with business objectives and company ethos, in partnership with HR Business Partner team
  • Facilitate talent management practices, including performance management, internal mobility, career development, and employee relations
  • Partner with HR leadership to ideate and execute on strategies to continually develop, engage, and retain employees
  • Implement equitable talent practices that promote a culture of belonging
  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning to prioritize employee growth and optimize organizational effectiveness
  • Coach leaders on a variety of topics including talent development, retention strategy, performance management, and employee relations
  • Support employees through annual performance feedback process to empower employee growth and fulfillment and foster a culture of two-way feedback
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders throughout the annual compensation cycle, ensuring competitive and equitable distribution of rewards
  • Provide employees with day-to-day coaching and counsel to empower self-advocacy, two-way feedback and career fulfillment
  • Partner closely with HR centers of excellence, including DEI, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Benefits & Wellness, and Learning & Development, to ensure a holistic and connected talent agenda
  • Analyze data and insights to identify trends and inform talent strategy
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in partnership with HR leadership in consultation with legal counsel as appropriate
  • Identify training needs for business units in partnership with Learning & Development
  • Manage voluntary and involuntary departures with care and integrity
  • Partner with People Operations team to ensure operational excellence and data accuracy
  • Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to inform of incoming staffing needs, aligning on external recruitment efforts and strategy

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a related Human Resources role
  • Familiarity of multiple Human Resource disciplines
  • Experience managing change in a fast-paced organization
  • Relevant industry experience desired

Salary Range
$95,000.00 - $125,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
