Function :
This position has the responsibility of centralizing the management of commercial loans involved in a bankruptcy proceeding. The emphasis of this position is to minimize losses and maximize recoveries for affected credits.

Duties :

• Develop, plan, and implement practices and procedures to minimize loan charge-offs from adversely-graded bankrupt relationships.
• Review and analyze all referred accounts. Identify all associated relationships.
• Access PACER and review all schedules.
• Analyze financial schedules and prepare for imaging.
• Coordinate with in-house counsel, local counsel, and bankruptcy vendor representing bank for affected loans.
• Negotiate with attorneys and creditor committees to maximize bank’s .
• Partner with the Relationship manager providing support and documentation for Risk Officers validating the appropriate risk grade, non-accrual and loss recognition.
• Resolve problem accounts involving complex collection situations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Masters or certification/specialized training preferred

Experience :
Four to six years of experience in commercial relationship management or JD from an accredited law school.

Competencies Required :
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy Thorough knowledge of commercial banking regulations and practices Thorough knowledge of FDCPA and Bankruptcy Law Ability to adapt in a dynamic, ever changing, collection environment Must display exemplary written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiples responsibilities Requires well-honed time management skills Proficient PC skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
