Vaco is working with a Community Bank to identify a Loan Operations Associate. This position supports loan! operations in daily processing and maintenance of all loan types on the system. Additionally, the Loan Ops Associate will be responsible for funding new loans, processing loan payments and balancing loan-related general ledger accounts daily.
Essential Functions: Review new loan packages for completeness and disburse funds Work with outside attorneys for loan documentation preparation Prepare internal loan documents Upload all new and renewed loans to the loan system Process loan payments Perform file maintenance and other corrective actions the FIS loan system Reviews various system reports daily/monthly, including SBA-Colson and BSA reporting Balances general ledger accounts daily Backup for producing and distributing bi-monthly officer exception reports Assist with preparing loan documents for imaging, imaging loan files and trailing items, quality control Assist with filing supporting documentation on an ongoing basis
Requirements:
A! minimum of 3 years' experience in a loan operations setting, ! preferably in a community bank setting. Capable of accurate data entry/transaction processing. Strong technical and computer skills. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to work in a team environment and a willingness to cross-train Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure Ability to communicate and maintain compliance/policy requirements while supporting sales culture.
