For complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Manages a team of Paralenders in the BLC Center. Manage the collecting, compiling, and reviewing documents necessary for the extension of credit and represent Regions and its specifi! c Relationship Manager in the loan closing process. Primary resource for problem solving and customer service for loan products. Daily responsibilities of the team will include, but are not limited to, the following: determine the level of due diligence required based on loan policy, review of title, environmental and appraisal to identify all issues and determine appropriate resolution, review flood determination and flood insurance to ensure full compliance with federal regulations, verify hazard/wind insurance, account information and collateral value, prepare loan documents according to underwriters approval and ensure loan is closed within full compliance of bank and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalency required. Some college preferred. 4 years of previous banking experience preferably in a customer service or sales support role.
Additional Information:
- This individual will originate calls ! to internal and external customers; i.e. (BB/CB and Branch Ass! ociates, SBA Specialists, Borrowers Attorney, Borrower’s CPA) to begin the process for the completion of Government Lending forms.
- Analyze and validate SBA Documents to ensure compliance with Regions and Government Lending Policy.
- Determine the level of due diligence based upon loan policy.
- Extensive knowledge of Government Lending (SBA, USDA) loan policy, documentation and procedures.
- Detail oriented and must be able to multi task, prioritize and problem solve effectively.
- Must have strong customer service skills (written, verbal, and listening).
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimum supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- College Degree Preferred or commensurate experience
