The Staff Attorney will conduct and/or assist with all phases of legal advocacy for individuals and classes of persons including research, preparation of documents, interviewing and counseling, negotiat! ions and appearing before administrative tribunals and courts at the trial and appellate level. The incumbent will make presentations to consumers and the public concerning legal rights and remedies. The incumbent will assist in the supervision of students from other disciplines.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctor and licensed to practice law in Alabama OR must become a member of the Alabama Bar within one year of the date of hire.
Admitted or eligible for admission to practice before all federal courts whose jurisdictions encompass Alabama.
Ability to manage a caseload, including litigation at all levels of state and federal courts. Effective writing and oral skills commensurate with serving capably as an attorney. Knowledge of standard software applications. In-state travel required. Valid U.S. driver's license ! required.
