As a member of the marketing and business development team, you will work with individual attorneys, practice groups and industry teams across the firm on developing and imple! menting business strategies. You will report directly to the law firms Director of Marketing & Business Development and work closely with offices in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile, Fort Lauderdale and Pensacola.
Core responsibilities include overseeing responses to client proposals; researching targets, industries, markets, and competition; gathering deal and case data, client lists, and practice group experience; serving as project lead of peer review directories; managing referral tracking system; supporting cross-selling activities between practice groups; supporting firm events and sponsorships, including attendance that focuses on client relationship building.
Requirements
Bachelors degree required. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business development and/or marketing field required. Law firm experience a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and CRM systems, preferably ContactEase.
Occasional ! travel to the firms offices, as well as some non-standard work! hours.
Ability to implement strategic directives and see projects through from concept to delivery.
Superior communication and project management skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Poise, tact and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
Commitment to professional growth and development.
Enthusiasm for and dedication to the legal industry.
Active knowledge of the law firm environment, including competition and trends.
