We seek a Sr. Affirmative Action Data Analyst to work in one of our offices either in Columbia, South Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina or Birmingham, Alabama. This person will support attorneys in preparing and/or defending affirmative action programs (AAPs). They will be responsible, with attorney oversight, for preparing statistical analyses and compliance-related reports using Microsoft Excel or related database software. Participation with attorneys in OFCCP compliance evaluations and responding to OFCCP requests for information.

Organizes and analyzes employment data using Microsoft Excel or related database software Organizes and prioritizes work Determines and meets deadlines Creates and prepares statistical analyses and compliance-related reports Assists attorneys in defending AAPs and OFCCP compliance reviews Communicates with clients Enters billing and expense data into Firm system in a timely manner

Requirements Analytical â€" Able to organize data and conduct statistical analyses (e.g., regression, standard deviation, t-test, chi square, etc.) of personnel processes, including compensation, hiring, promotion, termination, and benefits. Problem Solving Skills â€" Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Interpersonal Skills â€" Focuses on task at hand. Maintains confidentiality. Communication â€" Listens and gets clarification. Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact. Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for errors. Able to read and int! erpret information accurately and concisely. Organization Skills â€" Keeps work area neat and clear of safety hazards. Files are maintained neatly and are easily retrieved. Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks. Detail oriented. Teamwork â€" Willing and eager to help others and share knowledge and skills. Attendance/Punctuality â€" Is consistently at work and on time. Dependability â€" Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Willing to commit to additional hours when necessary to reach Firm objectives. Initiative â€" Takes independent actions and reasonable risks. Asks for and offers help when needed. Knowledge â€" Advanced expertise in EEO/affirmative action laws and regulations.

Computer Skills / Office Equipment:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word. Able to operate multi-line phone, calculator, cell phone, copier, fax, scanner.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or combinati! on of education and equivalent professional work experience. Five+ years’ HRIS or related experience with intensive knowledge of OFCCP compliance reviews, complaint investigations, data analyses, and damages calculations.
