The Legal Department of Protective Life Corporation has an opening for a Regulatory Analyst in the Birmingham, Alabama corporate office. Success in this role requires writing skills, organizational skills, motivation, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in the legal field is required
- Bachelor’s degree and additional paralegal certificate is re! quired (or other appropriate advanced degree)
- Compete! nce in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Must have strong organizational, teamwork and communication skills
- Must have the ability to handle pressure and prioritize multiple competing projects
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Prepare securities filings
- Litigation and regulatory examination support
- Advertising review
- Life claim review
- Support various tasks with respect to fixed and variable products
- Provide support for General Legal Team attorneys and work with other Regulatory Analysts as assigned
- Research projects as needed
