Sets-up and operates machines such as a drill press, punch press, shear, bending roll, brake, grinders and numerical control equipment which shape and alter sheetmetal according to specification.
DUTIES
- Seeking Aircraft Sheet Metal Workers and Welders with former US Army active duty or DOD Civilian/Contractor experience.
- Extensive helicopter experience in corrosion control, battle damage repair and component fabrication required.
- Must be able to weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using oxyacetylene, electric arc and inert gas welding equipment and repairs, repaints, and installs metal body components, fuel tanks and modifies other related items.
- Other duties as assigned
- U.S. Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a secret security clearance
- 5-10 years experience with aircraft sheet metal work.
