FireRock manufactures high quality pre-engineered masonry products, including indoor and outdoor fireplaces, chimney, firepits, and outdoor ovens. FireRock offers a full line of indoor and ! outdoor fireplaces which appeal to homeowners, builders, and architects as a compelling substitute to hand-laid masonry fireplaces. The product shares the quality, elegance, and durability of a traditional brick and mortar fireplace, but it is easier to install, costs less, and performs more consistently. Extensive research and testing ensures that FireRock fireplaces are professionally engineered to reflect heat and draw smoke.
Oversight and administration of all activities related to the Company’s accounting and finance activities including, but not limited to: transaction processing and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, procurement and vendor management, and debt/equity finance arrangements.
Assurance of audit and tax compliance.
Management support with corporate strategy and development, including capitalization, investor relations and senior bank relations.
Establishment and maintenance of systems and controls th! at verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, an! d enhance the Company’s value.
Provision of strong guidance in all areas of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, banking and treasury management.
Appraisal of operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities.
Review, analysis and interpretation of financial and budgetary reports.
Responsible for FireRock’s legal and human resource functions to include:
Processing of paperwork (i.e. compilation of employee files) and determination of work eligibility for all Company new-hires.
Administration of weekly payroll processing (includes data entry and submission to a third party payroll processor).
Serving as primary contact for Company attorneys on legal matters including, but not limited to: debt and equity finance arrangements, employment matters, property acquisitions, tax matters, and product warranty claims.
