The Risk Management Analyst position provides management and analysis of System wide risk management and legal information according to established standards. Must be able to p erforms independen! tly with little supervision. Job Summary: Completes a wide variety of assignments and reports, both scheduled and ad hoc, indepentednty. Gathers and enters required data to produce reports and analyses of a risk management, legal, clinical, technical and/or confidential nature, some of which may require extensive follow-up.
Maintains confidential department files and other records including legal and risk related documents, reports and conclusions protected from discovery and production under various federal and state statutes and by attorney/client privilege. Ensures data quality for decision support through proper training of all IHS RMIS users, and maintains a highly accurate data validation process for IHS entities. Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalency; Bachelors degree is preferred Excellent computer skills are a must Ability to demonstrate w ell developed oral and written skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions ! based on data, policies and procedures Working knowledge of so! ftware systems such as MIDAS or operating environments related to data identification and/or decision support
