The Corporate Legal Department of Protective Life Corporation has an opening for a full time legal support assistant in the Birmingham, AL corporate office. The candidate for this permanent full time position will work primarily with legal staff and internal clients at Protective Life Corporation.
Requirements:
2-4 years previous experience in an office environment p! referred
Ability to carry out assigned tasks by regulatory! analysts and / or attorneys
Aptitude to handle multiple tasks
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized
Must be able to work in a team setting
Ability to handle pressure, flexibility to work in a changing environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities:
Maintain corporate records
Support Regulatory Analysts with information gathering, submitting documents to regulatory agencies and follow up
Assemble Boards of Directors meeting and presentation materials
Other duties as assigned
