We have an exciting opportunity for a
Maintenance Mechanic
What you’ll do
You will perform facility and convey system maintenance. You must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and safely complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ensure daily operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and all other conveyor system components; after a few months of training you should be able to work independently
- Maintain building and installations according preventative plan. (inside and outside the building)
- Follow all maintenance safety programs, lock-out/tag-out, Fall Protection/work on height f.e.
- Conduct daily system walks and identify potential issues
- Manage the documentation of repairs, PMs and projects using IT systems
- Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
You’ll need to have
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and all other related systems is a pre but not mandatory
- Technical affinity or experience
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient with manual and electric hand tools
English mandatory (German or Dutch as plus)
- Distribution center experience
- Eager to develop technical skills
- Troubleshooting experience
- No fear for height
- Willing to learn and extend technical knowledge
- Availability to work in shifts
