The BABC Library and Research Services Department seeks innovative and service-oriented candidates for Research and Emerging Technologies Librarian. This position reports directly to the Library and Research Services Director. Roles and responsibilities include:• Legal/non-legal research using a variety of databases and other print and electronic research tools. Candidates should be especially proficient in using WestlawNext and Westlaw.com; LexisNexis; CCH IntelliConnect, BNA, D&B; Accurint; PACER; Hoovers and West Monitor.• Develop and promote research and resource training for attorneys and staff related to existing and emerging legal and business research technologies.• Initiate and manage special projects that further the department†s research, teaching, and marketing efforts.• Track new developments and issues relevant to the firm, its practice groups and clients and communicate that information quickly and effectively.
Develop and promote appropriate emerging technologies into the research environment to improve access and usability of the department†s resources for the firm.
