ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for servicing mortgage accounts to ensure the foreclosure is processed in compliance with all state and federal laws while maintaining compliance with Investor, Insurer, Agency and company guidelines. This includes the following:
- Manages all delinquent loans to ensure they are reviewed for foreclosure/repossession by the required milestone(s)
- Manages/Audits foreclosure timelines on assigned cases by interacting and instructing various parties such as mortgagors, a ttorneys, investors, and any other party involved with the foreclosure. Ensure all foreclosure/repossession milestones are met timely from referral to post sale.
- Manages, maintains and markets the bankâs repossessed assets according to policy and procedures
- Manages foreclosure/Repossession reports geared to drive workflow.
- Manages exception reporting used as key controls for minimizing risk.
- Monitors/Audits Foreclosure/Repossession loans, identifying trends or risks associated with the portfolio.
- Reviews and approved foreclosure/repossession documents as needed.
- Reviews and approves foreclosure/repossession bidding instructions and authorizes bidding amounts for upcoming foreclosure sales.
- Performs required research on high risk/escalated files, providing a detailed account.
- Recommend modifications to policies, procedures to improve process and workflows
- Follow departmental and business policies with s trict adherence
- Prioritize allocated work to ensure timely and accurate resolution to both external and internal partners, Adhere to all Government Regulations, Investor Guidelines and Iberiabank policies.
- Perform related duties as assigned by manager.
Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating designated units or certain personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; providing pay change recommendations; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Bachelor (4-year college) degree preferred. 3-4 years of foreclosure experience is required. Real Estate Collections or default related experience is preferred.
